Marley and Me
Husband and I saw Marley and Me with our family, and we all loved it.
I couldn't wait to see the movie because I adored the book. But, I tried not to set my expectations too high because I knew that the movie might not live up to the book.
However, the movie did not disappoint. In fact, I would say that it was just as good as the book. (That's high praise from a book lover!)
I don’t want to give anything away about the movie, so I’ll just say to expect to laugh a lot. And bring tissues.
At one poignant part of the movie, you could hear lots of sniffling throughout the theater, and I quickly wiped away a few tears, too.
Just then, Husband leaned over and whispered a goofy remark to me, which he knew would make me laugh. So while everyone else is weeping together, I’m laughing as quietly as I can, my body shaking with laughter.
I can only wonder what the people near us thought, when they saw me, the only person laughing at the saddest moment of the movie.
Regardless, this was one of the best movies I’ve seen in a while, and I definitely recommend it. But, the inappropriate laughter is up to you.

It's not too often a movie lives up to a great book. Will def have to check it out. Happy New Year!
Hmmm I wanna see it but I'm also worried I'm gonna get depressed. I have 3 pups at home.

Oh, I am so bad at that. Once, during a scene in a movie where two of the main characters are killed, I leaned over to a male friend of mine and asked him if he was crying with this big smirk on my face. He called me an insensitive b*tch and the two of us started laughing (by the way, he was totally crying). So I've totally confused or disgusted or whatever the people around me in theaters, too. It's kinda fun.

I would love to see that movie but I know I can't handle the sad stuff. I read the book and bawled like a baby during the tougher moments but I also laughed out loud several times too. Obi-Wan and I have two labs and our yellow dog was very similar to Marley as a puppy. Luckily she outgrew most of that naughty behavior and is muc better now. :)
Jeniffer Aniston seems to be getting better at giving Brad Pitt a run for his money...
Maybe we'll have to go see this one, I've been hearing good things about it.
