Science in his sleep

I always knew that my husband was smart about science. I, on the other hand, know how to spell science, but that’s about all I can say. He further proved my point the other night. There was a really strong storm that woke us up around 5AM. I was groggy because I had just been in a deep sleep. My tired mind struggled to even ask the question, “Is that…hail?” “Yes, it is,” he quickly replied. “Apparently the storm must have some strong convective activity.” It wasn't until I woke up later that I marveled that he not only knew such an obscure science fact, but he was able to recall it at 5AM. Even my most alert self couldn’t recall this fact because, well, I’m still not sure what convective activity is. I can rest easier knowing that – day or night – Husband will have an answer to my every science question.

Cute. My husband can do math in his sleep. He'll start going through numbers of what things cost and how much money we have coming in and then fall back to sleep while I'm wide awake after that... for hours. It's why I do the bills now.

But it's awesome when your hubby has mad skills like that.

You're lucky you have one that's coherent when woken up. Mr. C tends to mix words up! : )

I blame flight school. Mine learned all sorts of weird weather facts (ok maybe not so much weird but things that I just let go in one ear and out the other in school). Lord forbid you point out a cloud in the sky and not know what kind it is around here.

That's so cool. The best I get from my husband during sleep is snoring that raises the roof (c'mon sleep study appt!), gas and an occasional, "Damn it." Ohhh, sometimes he'll let his arm flop over and crack me across the face. *sigh*

Hahah!!! I always have entire conversations in my sleep. Seriously, just ask my hubbs.

I never recall them though... haha!

My husband would have busted out with something, it'd be a total lie, and then when I called him on it later in the day he would have no recollection of the conversation. You're so lucky!

What's comforting for us to learn is that pilots KNOW that! ;)

Guys are wired SO differently than we are, aren't they!? I find it amazing what my hubby comes up with out of the blue!
