Back to Reality
I got a case of the Sunday Night Blues a full 24 hours early, on Saturday night. Putting the Christmas decorations away and knowing that soon we’d both be back to a regular work schedule made me a little sad.
The Sunday Night Blues hit Husband on Sunday morning, as he started thinking about everything he’d need to do back at work.
But, we knew that the end of our break was inevitable. After all, you can only spend so much time napping, watching TV, and eating leftover Christmas cookies, right? At least that’s what I’m telling myself.

I think that the time after Christmas to the first week of Jan is the most depressing. I hate taking all of the Christmas decorations down and then having to return to work/school! I'm officially ready for Spring.
We took down all our decorations today. When I came back home from being gone for a few hours, I felt the house was so bare!!
The after holidays blues are the worst!
Blessings,
Kristie
I know what you mean. I was so sad for Monday to come and Chris to head back to work. I really enjoy it when we are all home!
I completely agree. Going back to reality after the holidays is always tough. But it's a new year full of new adventures! (I'm trying to give you and myself a pep talk so we can resist the urge to nap during the work day).
