Too much of a hassle for me. When we first bought our house, the shrubs were there - it was new construction and they hadn't died yet. Then they died. And we sank a lot of cash into replacing them. And they died again. I left them there for a long time b/c I spent so much money I wasn't quite ready to let them go just yet. My parents came over one day and my dad told me, "That's a nice stick garden you have growing" to which I quickly retorted, "It's not a stick garden; we planted reindeer and it's their antlers." He never said another word. SO, maybe basil isn't your thing, but reindeer are really easy to maintain :)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2773085528229145050.post-4301208621513073412010-07-26T05:57:58.026-07:002010-07-26T05:57:58.026-07:00I have managed to kill everything I planted this y...I have managed to kill everything I planted this year aside from our bushes. Basil must be hard to grow... surely it isn't our fault? ;-)Tashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06488012058593604962noreply@blogger.com
